We officially launched March 1, but we've been developing products for adventure touring bikes for awhile. Wanted to share one of our newest pieces for the BMW R 1200 GS.

Hi, PDX,
Thanks! They're available at AltRider.com. If you click over to the product page, you can check out the installation video to the right, under the thumbnail images. It demonstrates how they bolt through the 12mm engine mount, instead of hanging onto the engine using flanges or vulnerable tabs. It means that in a crash, impact is directed away from the cylinders and engine case and toward the strongest parts of the frame. The AltRider Crash Bars cost $394.97. |

Good, that's what we like to hear!
If you (or anyone else on the forum) decides they want to pre-order the AltRider Crash Bars for the BMW R 1200 GS, or order the AltRider Skid Plate for the BMW R 1200 GS, you could get the brand new R 1200 t-shirt. ![]() We developed this design in time to debut it at the 2010 Adventure Rider Challenge in Castaic, California at the end of this month. This is the first time we've made the design public. The first person from this forum to pre-order the crash bars or order the skid plate, and type "R1200GS.info" and their shirt size into the "Customer Notes" box at the end of the order form, will receive the new R 1200 shirt. |
