Dealer used prices?

Hi, I am going to have a look at a bike on Saturday with the intention of making an offer. It is a used 2008 model. What I would like to know is are BMW main dealers open to negotiation on pricing. I have been told that they do not haggle, they expect the ticket price to be paid. Any experiences would be appreciated. If I only manage to get a couple of hundred quid knocked off it will pay for a new helmet.

Make an offer, all they can say is "no". My dealer sells trade-ins as "used" and also sells consignment bikes. He haggles on his a bit and calls the owner on the consignment bikes.
