We’re proud of the products we’re making, and our skid plate for the BMW R 1200 GS is no exception.

Check out the video to see the innovative channel construction with 4.75 mm thick anodized aluminum and the beautiful hand TIG welds. We’re manufacturing it (and all of our other products) here in the United States, because we are really trying to do something different and do it right.

In this video, you can see what the AltRider skid plate looks like installed on the R 1200 GS. You’ll also see it side-by-side with the OEM bash plate, and hear about the changes BMW made to the mounting solution for GS boxer motors.
