Thumbs up Production !

This is a new design, which will replace the original 'round two-piece' version. Getting final quotes on coatings, new hardware, etc. Prototype going into shop for Black 'Semi-Gloss' Powdercoat. Kit will be base coated and then powdercoated with Black (UV Resistant) Poly Powerdcoat. (two complete coats, base coat will ensure excellent adhesion of top coat and will serve to help protect threaded areas that do not receive powder.. The unit will be used for Product Pictures on all GS Models.

I expect production order to happen first couple weeks of January.. Maybe last week of December if all goes well ? I still have not determined final pricing, but at this time, do not expect it to exceed $170.00 for full kit.

Remember, full kit will mount to all BMW GS Models, 1100 thru 1200GSA..

Adapters that will allow mounting of Factory Aux Lights to my bar will be extra cost, probably around $9.00 per kit.

The CAN BUS adapter will also become an extra cost option for this kit. Due to the multi-year/model application capability, it does not make sense to include it for earlier models, prior to introduction of CAN BUS technology...

As soon as I get the Prototype bar powdercoated and get new pics, I will post them on my website...and post notice here...

Thumbs up Production !

Production order submitted today.

Should have kits ready for packaging by 1st week of January.

I have decided to offer bar in both Clear Annodized and Black (Semi-G) Powdercoat finish.

I will probably release pricing this weekend, as some kit hardware pricing is still TBD & no, I have not taken any more pics yet, must wait until my proto bar is coated and will have to remount lights on all four bikes for new pics, then I will post them on my website...

CANBUS adapter & Factory Aux Light Bracket relocation kit will be extra cost options.

My website will have the new pictures and other information posted within the next day or so, in the 'What's New' section.

I have passed everything to my webmaster for the updates, so when she gets it done, it will be there.

Thanks for all of your inputs and questions.

Thumbs up Production Shop Update..

Visited shop just before Christmas to see progress..

Not as far along as I would have liked, but back-order of T6 stock was partially to blame.

Final s/w updates had been put into computer and finalized.

Good news was, most of the Boot-Clamp sets have been completed and await final cut. (most difficult part of job)

Main bar cutting/shaping begins on the 2nd of January.

Kit H/W will be in sometime next week.

Packing/shipping material has already been delivered.

Half of production run is spoken for, as of just before Christmas.

If you are interested and want to make sure you are in on the first run, take another look at http://www.ezymount.com/kits/whats_new.htm

and send an email to info@ezymount.com, to reserve a kit.

I have not priced shipping costs to Canada or Europe yet, those charges will obviously be higher. When I am able to establish those numbers, I will let you know.

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and get the New Year off to a great start this evening, unless this catches you after midnight, if so

Happy New Year !

Thumbs up new pics up

Some additional pics of R1150GS w/510's installed, will be added by Monday morning to :

http://www.ezymount.com/kits/whats_new.htm

After some minor cosmetic and fitment enhancement changes have been made and tested, final production effort is underway. Expect kits to be ready for coating shops end of next week. If that schedule stays on track, then kits will be ready for packaging in about 2 weeks, or on/or about Feb. 1....
