Cool Fender Extender

I just got a 2009 R1200GS and wanted to protect the motor from dirt and mud from splashing off the front tire. Has anybody installed the fender extender from Twisted Throttle or from 1 tailsport bike and was it worth it and was the quality of the entender good. Thanks. Dave

Default Fenda Extenda

Look at http://www.dandyindustries.biz/fenda-extenda.htm. I bought one from this guy for my R1150GS, worked well. I see R1200GS in his fitment document, so I guess I need to buy something else for my '09 as well!

I think the PIAA HID is just this re-branded: http://trailtech.net/lights.html

This looks like the same product that Dandy Industries provides. IIRC, he imports them from U-rope somewhere.

Just installed a "Fenda Extenda" on my 2010 R1200GS. I was picking up a lot of crap from the road surface that was being slung onto the crossover pipe and the engine, and this stopped it. I can see that it will deflect the mud as well. Easy installation, good fit, and after searching, all prices were about the same.
