Default Gerbing problems

I have a Gerbing heated shirt and the permanent potentiometer/adjuster. My Gerbing vest stopping working during a ride. Earlier it had stopped working and I discovered the pot had come unplugged and I fixed it. However, this time it stopped heating, the pot was plugged in and I checked the fuse. What could be wrong? Are the electronics not reliable?

Stuff breaks. Your job now is to find out exactly what has broken. Are the controller (probably not a potentiometer) battery connections good? If fused, is the fuse good? Are you getting output from the controller? If getting output was the controller to heated garment connection good? How about the garment itself... it's made up of wires which can break.

Default Gerbing

I have an old controller that stopped working. It was the one that goes in a pocket and it stopped working but it was >3 years old. I then bought the one that mounts. That is what I started the thread with. I will follow the debugging directions and let you know how it goes.
