Wink flip ups & bluetooth

I have my first flip up now for about 1year, its a Shoei Muilitect which I use with a hard wired Autocom system hooked up with my Garmin 2720, Valentine V1, Sirius satilite radio with mp3 and bluetooth autocom pod for cell phone.

I know its way tooo much stuff but sometimes you just have to have this stuff. Also bought a new HJC flip for its pull down sun visor feature, but its very noisy and is not as comfortable as the Shoei

Default Helmets

Hi
I also ride with a Shoei Multitech and I find it very comfortable and reasonably quiet, but i get a lot of buffeting off the windscreen (let's not go there!).
I also use a Shoei Hornet dual purpose helmet which is much lighter and slightly quieter (I think the peak helps a bit).
No electronics though, I'm trying to find a bike to bike system which can incorporate a microphone with moulded ear plugs.

Default Multitech Flip

Hi Frothers, I use a Shoei Multitech -flip. The ventillation system is good, the flip feature is easy to use, even with winter gloves and if safety is important to you, buy it. 'you can't ride without your head' and 'how much is YOUR NUT worth'. Multitech is comfortable but not as quiet as I would like but probably because of the screen. The flip is just too versatile not to have on a R12 considdering what most of us get up to... It is fitted with SENA SMH10 Intercom system. The SMH10 is a dream to operate with the single Jog dial and has all the usual bluetooth hook up capabilities. This intercom system has the capability of fitting ear buds.. there are some teathing issues with the VOX system, but the more you get used to it the more you appreciate it...

AGV S4 SV. In my oppinion, best quality/price relationship.

It's also ready for communications but you need to buy the AGV comm system, apparently.

Default summer / winter

in summer i use a DUCHINNI D505 suprising how quiet it is and it is light.
in winter i have an AGV longway that is to be replaced soon with something. hence me looking at this thread.
the best so far would be a NITRO NSFC CARBON - it has lightweight and a built in sun visor, i just need to find a stocked shop to see if it fits my head.

Default nitro update

the light carbon (about 1150g) was not a good fit. that was a shame as the weight on your head was similar to a bicycle helmet the diference to my AGV longway was striking. the best fit for me was the plastic AGV K3, but the vent system is only good for sports bike riders acording to a few reviews - revzilla etc. next is to try the AGV S4 a carbon kevlar helmet. anyone tried an AGV S4 on the GS and found it ok for noise - ta

Scala Rider G2 or G4 rocks with its cock out. Best on the market and works very well with a full face.

Give UCLEAR a look see, uses some pretty hi-tech speakers with the mics built in them, several of my riding buddies have them and have given them a thumbs up
