ADV gearbox into 1200GS?

Does anyone know if it is possible to put ADV gearbox into 1200GS?
Has anyone thought about this as a solution to “long” first gear that makes off-road riding on a regular R1200GS a bit difficult sometimes?
Any other ideas to deal with the "long" first gear off-road?

Until the 2008 model both the ADV and standard R12GS used the same gearbox. The gearbox ratios for both changed with the '08 model along with the FD ratio. I haven't seen the actual specs for the optional enduro transmission available on the '08 ADV model save comments that first is lower.

I know, that doesn't answer your question. I don't know if a new (read expensive) enduro transmission will bolt up or not. Without replacing the FD along with the transmission you'll loose some of the benefits of the lower gear ratios (assuming that the transmission bolts up to the engine in the first place).
