Default '08 LED turn signals

I fitted a set of the new style LED indicators to my ('05) 12GS today. Even though you are supplied with a fitting kit, it still needs a bit of wiring work. I cut my leads to shorten them as you'd end up with too much wire to tuck away once finished otherwise. I also soldered and heat shrinked the new connections just to be on the safe side. Everything works perfectly and the difference in brightness/visability is very pleasing.

Cost wise, I got them for £110 sterling after some discount.

Were they really necessary ?

No, but it is coming up to Christmas, right ?

Well, you know what the original ones look like, however, here's the new set-up.

First pic is how I wired it into the loom.

Second is the new LED indicator.

Third is the front right mounted.

Fourth is the rear left mounted.

Fifth is a close-up of said new left rear.

Sixth is view from the front.

Seventh is front flashing.

Eighth is the rear ones flashing.

The pictures probably don't convey the difference in intensity that the LED ones give off. Suffice to say, I'm a happy bunny.

They look like they put out quite a lot of light. Thanks for the pics.

Yes, they do. One of the main reasons I decided to fit them was I have a full HID set-up and the stock old type flashers kinda faded into the background. These ones at least can been seen by the approaching traffic, plus they look nicer.
