Hi all ---
I want to become a GS owner and found a bike that pretty much has what I want on it (used). However the color would not be my first choice. I was wondering if the color plastic panels can be successfully painted? Are these panels solid color all the way through, or are they just painted plastic? Has anyone painted their GS? And if so, did you use any special kind of paint or process to paint the plastic? Thanks --- Luke |

I had a custom bike painter buy the BMW paint for me and had both my large and small side pannels painted. Two years and running with no problems.
special note: Ensure you ask the painter for the can of paint or they will keep it.
