Hi,
I could not find any old threads about comparing fuel management modules so here it goes. I see some of us are installing Power Commarders, others the Wunderlich module. What do you think the pros and cons are of each? Is there another choice besides these two? BTW - I have a '07 with a Remus can and K&N filter. It's already running too lean for my liking. If I buy the Remus header I am afraid my GS will run even leaner. Thanks, Pat |

Bloke, I'm sure there are several indicators of lean running. The big one for me was loud popping coming off the gas. Also, some throttle responses seemed to be sluggish as if the engine was needing more gas than it was given. You know, seat of the pants stuff not dyno data. So the International Motorcycle show was in town. Damn, there was Wunderlich so the wallet is in immediate trouble. I bought a performance module (for the 1200GS). The popping is gone. Now I need to dial it in. The engine seems to be running a little rich now. Lost 2 to 4 MPG on 1/2 tank and the exhaust has more of a gas smell to it. It will be fun to play with the module but it has already met my expectations.
