Default Steppers

Good afternoon everybody.
Sunday was a good day to deal with some modification on my 2007 GS.
I then spent some time installing the Touratech lower steppers.

A few hours later I've been to some dirt road (not off road) and I tried to figure the real difference.
In fact I didn't really had to try as it was so obvious.

First, I adjust them to their lowest position. It's very comfortable but when you are sit the bike is not as easy as before to enter small curves. Anyway this position is still very nice, especialy on long trip.

As soon as you stand on the bike I felt the real difference.
First of all, I'm more stable and a bit lower.
A soon as you get into situation where the bike pull you to the back or push you to the front, you have a way more stable position and your feet are not going to slip.

I feel more confident in these situation and I really enjoy it. For sure, I will not remove them.

It's also better fitting the bike look.

The only stuff I could consider is to change their position to be higher.

Regards

Alex

You're welcome.

By the way, as I always hate to play with springs it was hell to me to install it.
You really need a long flat screw driver to help the fathom part to remain far enough so you can put the axis.

Apart of that, easy job.

Enjoy your rides.
