Not available for free download (that I know of). Illegal clones of the RepROM or outdated version of the dealer's RSD are sometimes sold on ebay. It's been reported that at least one of the clones was infected with malware.

Your dealer will sell you the RepROM on DVD for about $130. It is updated (online downloads) every so often with changes. It is a serialized windows application, not a PDF file.

If you want hard copy you'll have to wait until Haynes or Clymer come out with one.

I've bought two of the Ebay versions and have been lucky I guess.

Please don't support thieves and criminals by purchasing pirated copies of anything. We all like to save a few $$ but these sc*mbags are ripping off both foreign and domestic intellectual property owners.

In this case I feel fine about it and BMW has been given quite a bit of my money with the two bikes I have bought in the last year. Pretty sure they won't miss the $100 or so.

Sadly that is a pretty standard rationalization for buying black market items. I too have given money to BMW for multiple motorcycles yet I don't feel I'm entitled to steal their intellectual property via purchasing pirated products. The Chinese do this to US companies all day long, no respect for copyright or patent laws.

I'm turning the rant switch off now.
