Default changing from miles to kilometers

My R1200 GS is in Miles and I want to change it to KM.

The speed is in Miles and Km.
I asked about changing the digital milometer at my local BMW dealer,he didn't seem to know what I was talking about,I mentioned GT1 and he still was clueless.
He rang me after a few days of trying to find out if it is possible only to tell me it is not possible.
Do I need a new cockpit/instrumentcluster?

Any ideas??

Thanks

GT1, as in Group Tester One, not CT1. Or was that a typo?

That said, I don't know if the GT1 can change the readout from miles to kilometers in the various odometers.

I had it changed over at the weekend.
Drews BMW in Reidingen Germany did it with out any problem.
I would recomend them,Gave me a S1000RR and a new R1200GS to test while they did a service and changed the clock over for 4 hours.
