R1200GSA Final Drive Jolt When Opening & Closing Throttle

I have a problem with my 2006 R1200GS Adventure, and wondered if anybody could help me out with it ?

The problem is that when you open and close the throttle, there is a jolt from somewhere in the drive system. It happens everytime the throttle is open and closed quickly, but as I am conscious of it, I tend to roll the throttle open and closed, which helps a little.

I’m not sure where the jolt is coming from, but it feels final drive/drive shaft related, rather than gearbox.

My brother has the same model bike and year and his is as smooth as silk.

I really want to bottom this problem, as I love the bike apart from this. Does anybody know what the problem is with my bike ?

Have you final drived checked? Check and or replace the oil in FD. There have been some failures with some warnings similar to yours.

Just a guess...you might try replacing your hydraulic clutch assist
fluid. There are how to do it's on the forums. (bleeding your clutch)
