Default Suspension... :D

Hi folk.

I don't come very often to post but read a lot of nice stuff.

I recently, just two days ago, installed a set of Ohlins suspension on my 1200 GS 2007.

I've been told many good things about them compared to the orginal BMW (Showa) and decided to go for it.

We must consider that the front suspension was dead (my mechanic told me I was riding on the spring only). This will certainly make the gap to Ohlins even bigger.

The perception I have so far is that the bike is MUCH^3 better fitting to the road (off road).

Going from one angle to its opposite is just very precise.
The first feeling when I sat on the bike was: It feels harder (actually the suspension is set to the softness for "rôdage"), and a bit higher (not collapsing below my weight).

I've been to a small agricol road for about 500 meters.
Going there was just the extreme pleasure I could find with these Ohlins.
The wheels are gripping all the time while the road default are not sent to my arms.

This Ohlins might cost quite a lot compared to the original suspension but this is the best gift I could make to my motorbike.

Some do prefer spending extra buck to have more power.
I do prefer to adapt the bike to "exploit" more of its original power.

As I use to say, I very very seldomly shake hand to someone who master 100 HP. (I do not master them either).
It is then useless to me to have more power but instead have more confidence on the bike.

Ohlins was the tool!

Thank for reading.
