Default re-gripping

I've never re-griped a bike with heated grips before. Anybody have a good method for taking the old grips off? I suspect slitting the grip with a box cutter is the wrong approach....

Also, anybody know the OD of the left and right handlebars? I have a set of OURY grips that I'm going to try but I'd rather know if they fit before I start the job.

I read this recently:
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...highlight=grip

Hope it is applicable, and the link works.

Default Removing Gripps

Use compressed air up and around the old grips outside end. Round and round it will release the sticky grip. Try it you will soon see it works great Anything else I can help you with? Ha!

Followed the ADV rider instructions and it worked perfectly for me last winter - gently easy back the old rubbers and cut the "folded over" bit with a blade.
