Question LED Flashing Rear Tail Lamp Fault

Anyone experience any lamp fault with a RoadRocketeer LED flashing tail lamp unit.

It comes and goes while riding. More braking seems to trigger a fault code.
Will reset after shutdown and restart. However, there is is occasion for the fault code to appears while riding: eek: and then disappear without complete shutdown. Only to reappear later.

Confusing!
Cannot figure out how to face this problem.

Check where the tail lamp plugs into the socket. A loose socket or one with a bit of corrosion can cause the kind of issue you are seeing. A shot of contact cleaner might help.

Or it might be something with the tail light unit. Good luck if that is the case.

Default I had to clean the center contact on mine

I was having taillight problems with the stock bulb. I cleaned up the copper contact with some steel wool and then put a blob of solder on the copper to help with contact to the lamp. Haven't had any trouble since.

Thanks.
I'll check these when I get home in a few days.
