Default Service warning prompt.

Does anyone know a way of removing the service warning prompt that appears on the LCD display, other than taking it to my local dealer and paying him to do it at great expense?? I have done my own 60,000K service the other day.
Peter.

Default Service warning prompt

You can go to GS-911 Diagnostic Tool for BMW Motorcycles, pick up one and accomplish the reset.

Default Service prompt.

Thanks Mike for the information, however the cost of these outweighs the benefit, but thanks anyway. Peter.

Hello Peter

It sounds like you like to do your own work, I know I do all the work on all my bikes. I recently purchased my GSA and one of the first items I bought was the GS911. While it seems to be expensive I believe it will save money over time. Take a look at their website and read about the unit, resetting the service light is one of the "smaller, least important" functions. The enthusiest model will work with 10 different bikes VIN's. Maybe there are other riders in your area and you could split the cost and it would be a community tool?

Don

PS
If you lived near me I'd reset it for you but I think that would be a little more expensive for you to get the bike here!
