I read this and thought - "why would anyone in their right mind want a quickshifter on a GS...."

However, as I usually do in such circumstances I decided to do a Google and see what, if anything, is out there.

Lo and behold... Bazzaz.net - Z-Fi QS R1200GS 10-11

Though I'm obligated to tell you that the Bazzaz Quick Shift is for race use only (insurance), a lot of folks can be found using it off the course. Being about the only Bazzaz employee that doesn't race, I still use quick shift and fuel injection tuning (the Z-Fi QS comes with both integrated in one box). Sometimes I want to accelerate like I'm in MotoGP, sometimes I just want to hear the little pop you often get, and other times I'm just plum lazy.

It's fun, plain and simple.

As long as the moderators don't mind, I can point you to the technical specifics: http://bazzaz.net/Z-notes/F1081_Z-notes_BMW_R1200GS.pdf
