Default Brake light on in cold weather

MY brake light keeps flashing on when i brake in cold weather. usually it only happens when i first start riding and apply the brakes. If i ride for about ten minutes and turn of the bike and back on then the light goes out. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could possibly be the problem?

Do you mean the actual brake light or an indicator on the console? And what year GS?

I mean the indicator light on the screen. It is a 2006 GSA.

Check pads, brake disk thickness, front control circuit fluid level (handlebar reservoir), rear control circuit fluid level (rear sub-frame mounted reservoir) and the fluid levels in the two ABS reservoirs (under the tank).

I'm guessing you have borderline low fluid levels in one of the ABS reservoirs. When were the brakes last flushed?

I just bought the bike last month but I believe i read in the notes that the brakes were flushed 10000miles ago. I think the rear brake reservoir looks a little low. I'll let you know how it turns out after the cold ride tonight
