Default Moving from clutch to shifting....

Since there were several subjects on clutches, I remembered that at times, my bike will miss a shift to 3rd or 4th. Not all the time but enough to annoy me. Rider error or something sinister lurking in the dark?

Thanks for the thanks. If you want to go a little deeper into
GS transmission they are made by GETRAG. Eighty five miles up
the road from Berlin I am told.

Not a household name, no but largest in the world. Annual production
2.6 million transmissions. GETRAG Corporate Group - The company

I'm not sure who makes clutches for the GS but from the forums
supposedly the water head is going to a wet clutch as opposed to the
present dry clutch. This may be driven by the world police agency market
as they beat up on the dry clutches.
