Hi beam problem???

Found a strange problem with my GS headlights.

When ignition is on so I can switch hi-beam on even the engine is not running. Bike is -11 model and app 5000miles on the clock. Strange thing, has anybody had any similar problems??

What's the problem? You stated a correct fact... with the ignition on you can turn on the high beams. Engine state is irrelevant. Or did you think it isn't supposed to work that way?
