Question AGM Batteries

Has anyone here changed over to a WestCo or Odyssey battery, if so what do you think.

My OE battery has finally given up and it's time for a change. It has been struggling all this year and this weekend it was really struggling to turn her over. I thought I was going to be stranded 10 miles from the nearest road, never mind civilisation!

In the UK the bikes come with lead/acid batteries and I understand that in the US they come with AGM's. How are they?

Any advice weclomed.

Cheers Stu

I just installed a Odyssey PC-535 in my R12GS. The fit is tight, but it fits, had to reroute the cables to the front and remove the upturned copper plates on the battery, using the battery post to attach cables.

I have had excellent results with Odyssey batteries in previous bikes.
I bought the PC-535 off of ebay.
