Boosterplug vs. Accelerator on newer GS (hexhead)

Hi gang-
I have been doing sore research if there is any detectable benefit on installing a BoosterPlug/Accelerator to new GS1200 (2010+). I have been reading conflicting information. It seems to defenetly improve on/off throttle response and readability on the older models but I could not detect a level of confidence it does the job on new model.

I run pretty much stock with and Akra slip on. I am now debating weather or not to give it a try. And which one would be better between the two options (the Accelerator being the more economical one).

Thoughts or experience on such plug ins?

When I bought my 2011 GS I took the Booster Plug off my 05 and put it on the new bike. To be honest, I really didn't notice much of a difference other than a little less popping while decelerating.

Maintenance and Modifications > Boosterplug vs. Accelerator on newer GS (hexhead)

First, I have an '09 GSA, not a cam head. I used the Booster Plug on my machine and it made a noticable difference. Prior to installing it, I had a slight hesitation in throttle response when my wrist felt a bit agressive. The machine also popped while gearing it down. The Booster Plug eliminated these things. In fact, one of the techs at local BMW store commented the other day about how crisp the throttle response is on my bike.

Oh, I had a little hassle with the Booster Plug after it had been on the bike for 2.5 years. I notified Jens and the new unit arrived a few days later. Great customer service!

It definetely seems to make a difference on older models. Not yet convinced it would do much on '10+ models... thank you for your feedback.

Jens' website is BoosterPlug BMW R1200 Series

The Accelerator Module is ACCELERATOR - The extra boost your bike needs

I hope this helps.
