Default Gear shift options...help.

So, Wunderlich it seems makes the only adjustable gear shift lever that, like a few others looks like it works, however doesn't look cheap. At close to $140 bones its twice the cost of Hammer Head or Touratech.

The stock BMW shift lever just isn't working anymore and have gone over twice practicing in the mud and gravel, the last one on the left side. Anyone with good gear shift advice.

Is it the wrong length or just needs to move up or down? You can adjust the latter, and the former can be bought in various lengths for half the price:

Thx for the reply. The length is the issue not the adjustment up and down. I'm trying to find a shift replacement that can adjust forward and back. Wunderlich makes a great looking after market option, however its way over budget. The one you are suggesting doesn't seem to do what I'm looking for. Another option?

I have a Wunderlich gearlever which I bought brand new off ebay (in the UK). Got it for about half price. It is a beautifully made piece of engineering and I love it ! You could also go for the Touratech version. It costs about half as much as the Wunderlich one, but looks a bit more 'Mechano'. However, if it does the job you are looking for at the right price, so what ?

Default Dang.

Looking at the Wunderlich shifter just seems to be the way to go. Its about factory as one can get that also has all the adjustments I need, short fat feet ya know.

Mr. Smeggy, was your find lucky or were there others available? I would love to go that route but over $100.00 is killing me.

The firm that sells them puts them on now and again.

I have the wunderlich and the shifter tip fell off on my first ride. Check the nut before you go. I limped to a local hardware store and found a lock nut. I've been carrying around the stock shifter just in case for over a year now.
