I have them on my 07. IMO they're great for making you more visible to cagers, but they put very little light down the road. I added driving lights up high on a Migsel mount and now have the best of both worlds.

I replaced my motolights (fork mount, not caliper mount) because when they were aimed for good daylight conspicuity I had to turn them off at night or when riding in the fog. I was using the amber bulbs which are only available in 50 W with a 12° beam spread. Perhaps that was part of the problem.

If you only ride street a caliper mount is probably fine. If you ride dirt make sure that the lights wont cause damage to the bike if you happen to hit something hard.

I already have micro flooters for driving lights. I like the beam. I would like another set of lights. The moto lights are eye catching, and I wonder if they would make a better eye catcher for cars?

They were sold within a day or two of being taken off of the bike. I had a waiting list of people wanting to buy them. Obviously I didn't charge enough
