Talking Pannier Attachment

Hi folks.Thinking about purchasing the panniers for my GS1200. Do they attach directly on to the factory fitted brackets-or is it not that straight forward? Top forum guys!

Which Panniers do you want to put on your bike?

Do you want factory, Jesse's, TT Zegga's, Happy Trails, Givi's, Pelicans?

You forgot to mention Micatech, they make some really nice saddlebags for the R1200GS (and older GS'es too).

The factory topcase install will require the use of a Dremel to make clearance for the support bars. DAMHIK

The key with the factory panniers is getting the "mushroom" secure and at the right height for the bags. Once set and tightened the bags are never an issue.
