Question Tailbag

Has anyone found a tailbag that can be attached to the R1200GS in place of the pillion seat?

Im running a pellican case on a plate
It is great because it locks into the pillion seat mount.
A few guys are making these plates.

What I could use some help on is finding the post on the seat
I cant seem to find it listed seperate and would like to swap between the seat and the case

I was partial to the Marsee Bavairan 44L tail bag for awhile, until I went with a couple Pelican cases in its place. I've been told that Marsee doesn't sell it anymore.

Fitting, perhaps, as Marsee ripped off the design (and an actual tail bag!) from Dual Sport, Inc., who came up with it originally (the owner's father rode an R1100GS). I bought a Dual Sport version about 10 years ago, but sold it with my R11GS. I don't believe Dual Sport makes them anymore, as Marsee undercut them on price.

Nice!

My GF has one on her R1200ST, and I tried it on my GS. It looks and works great!

Interestingly we removed it from her bike today to take it in for warranty repair.

I'll stick it on mine tomorrow and take a few shots.

Sorry for the night shots.

Anyhow, it isn't attached, and I have it on the rack so it can be used for a backrest. It is firm enough for that.

Also, it will fit beautifully on the rear seat too!

PS It isn't really purple at all, but my brightnening it in photoshop causes it to look like it.
