Default Wolfman Tankbag

Has anyone used the Wolfman Explorer on a R1200GS. If so, have you encountered any difficulty with the mounting? Wolfman does not specify the R1200GS on their web site and I did not know if this is just not an update they have made, or if their mounting system will not work with the newer GS.

Nope, I've used Wolfman tail bags on a number of bikes. But I've got a Chicane tankbag on my R12GS and it fits and functions perfectly!

I use the Marsee 15L Tear Drop tank bag and it works well too. Since I added a GPS to the bar clamp, I'm going to have to look at a tail bag.

I'm jumping rather late on this (but that's never stopped me before...).

I use the Explorer Lite on my R12GS. I used to have an Explorer on my KLR; however I found that tankbag to be *too* big for my needs, I just don't carry that much in the bag and it tended to get in the way slightly.

I can fit a 1.5L Platypus water bag, small P&S camera, extra gloves (if needed), knive/multitool, spare earplugs, hat, energy bar, and other misc stuff in the Explorer Lite. The 4-point mounts hold the bag securely and the bag unsnaps quickly for fuel stops.

The only negative to the Explorer for me is the need to put clear plastic on the tank to prevent the straps from rubbing.
