Smile New Arai Tour X 3 fitment

Hi everyone. Looking to buy a new lid. Tried the Arai Tour X 3 and it fits verrrrrry tight at the base of the neck and also the forehead a bit.
Does anyone have one and can advise if this tightness relieves after a while once this lid forms to you head?
Tks, Trevor

I think Arai makes 3 shapes for the shape of your head. Perfectly
round, kind of egg shaped and a long oval. Those might not
be the exact terms but they are close. Good Luck.

I have just purchased an Arai TourX3.
To wear an Arai you need an Arai shaped head, I would say you dont have one.
By the sound of it you would be better finding another make of helmet rather than changing your head .
I am not knocking Arai as I must have one of those heads, I have worn Arai for the last 18 years and none of the helmets I have had have felt tight, only snug.

If you are buying an Arai from a proper Arai dealer, they will be able to alter the fit of the helmet by changing different pads inside the lid. Any helmet will need bedding in time, but it shouldn't be so tight that it hurts after a few minutes.

I was fitted for a helmet once by an Arai rep. They do have three differently shaped helmets as previously mentioned. You just may not be able to wear that model.

Thumbs up

Thanks Guys, prob is no other lid really does the job as well as the Arai I reckon, The Hornets peak is waaaaaaaaaaay too high the be useful, and the others just don't have the finish or quality so there really isn't a choice! LOL The more I wore it while I had it on loan from the dealer, (yeah he's a really great guy!) the better it got. so it'll be the job for me.
Tks again,

Trevor.
