Default Tankbag recommendations

What tankbags do people have on their R1200GS's or Adventures and how do you like them? Any non-GS-specific tank bags that fit well? Anyone using the Touratech Standard, which l'm favouring at the moment?

My main criteria are:
- snug fit, unobtrusive to gauges and controls
- won't scuff bike's finish
- large, removable map pocket
- expansion/contraction
- waterproof, or has good cover that leaves map visible

I USE THE TOURATECH ONE ON A GSA, I HATE IT, PAID 109 EURO, THE MAP CASE IS A GOOD SIZE HOWEVER IT IS NOT WATERPROOF, A LOT OF MOISTURE GETS IN.
THE VELCRO TABS THAT YOU STICK ON THE BODY, THE GLUE GAVE UP THE GHOST ON A NOT VERY HOT DAY AND LEFT A HORRIBLE GUMMY MESS THAT TOOK A LONG TIME TO CLEAN.
THE ACTUAL TANK BAG IS GOOD, AND SITS WELL EVEN WHEN EXPANDED.
ON THE WHOLE THOUGH I WAS NOT IMPRESSED.

Default GS Bag

I have the BMW GS tank bag. It is roomy and easy to mount but a bit bulky when you have to lean over the tank.

I'm looking too, and have been told that the big BMW GS tankbag interferes with the crossmember on the GSA's handlebar. It's also larger than what I want.

Baglux tank cover and two different size bags used as necessary, protects the tank from scratches and allows you access to the various size bags that Baglux make...

I use the large Wolfman Expedition on my Adventure. Needs no raincover, clears the crossbar on the handle bar, has a decent mapholder and doesn't slide around on the tank. It's well built and rugged.

Thumbs up Bagster/Baglux

I second GSrider, I too have a Baglux system, easy to get on and off, looks good and protects the tank, spot on.

Smile Chicane Canyon EX

I really like Chicane bags, they are excellent quality and the guys at Chicane back up their product. They were at Paonia (Top-of-the-Rockies) rally, and let me try a couple of different bags on my GS and I liked the slightly smaller Canyon EX ($125) bag that the GS Specific one.

Default another bagster/baglux

I have the bagster system. I had to order from nippy normans in england. I I like the easy on off. Started to tear but never kept going. Many long trips, maybe 8000 miles and still nice. The tank cover is a bit difficult to install remove. But you rarely need to to that. Favorite system, but I'm looking for on that is even better.
