Default GPS Mount
Who makes the GPS mount that attaches to the stock shield brace on the R1200GS (2007) that positions the unit above the instruments? I've seen it in an ad and can't for the life of me locate the magazine it was in.

Default GPS mounting kit
Pidcocks BMW have a great unit - that mounts direct to the cross brace on the Adventure screen - possibly will also fit the GS screen? It is around £40.

BMW part number 71 60 7 707 369 does that.

Here's how I mounted mine...

I just purchase a mount built by Adapiv Technologies that is simply the best quality and fits directly on the windshield brace of my 08 GS.

Couldn't stand it on the bars.
It's great piece of equipment. Fits perfectly and its in a same color, giving Adv look. It's original BMW part for just 40 EUR. Supposed to be easy to fix but ended in just amazing job with removal of 4 securing bolts. What a story. And still ongoing with 2 of 4 screw heads stripped and impossible to remove.

Default Migsel mount for GPS
I just installed this one from Migsel and think it's great. Be sure to get the right one for you model year (pre 2008 or 2008+).

i have the first one and is very good. Really small and steady
