Default BMW Tall windscreen

For those who looked into this, it works great. I took my stock one off after I bought it as buffeting was horrendous and put on a flyscreen. As cold weather is here, I bought the tall screen for 115- and it really works. Its 3" taller and wider and no helmet buffeting. Aside for some minor shaking/vibration when idling on the top of the screen (which I gather is normal) no complaints.

Default 1200GS Screens

I have just joined the forum and notice that there has been plenty of discussion about this topic.
The wind noise and buffeting on my '04 1200Gs is driving me nuts.
I am 5'10" tall and wear a Shoei Hornet helmet (also a Shoei Multitech in winter)
I have tried different settings on the standard screen with no result.
A Ztecknick airflow screen has also made no difference, maybe worse!
I just tried fitting a Laminar Lip to the standard screen and so far have had no success with that.
I have also tried no screen at all and just a Wunderlich instrument shroud.
I am waiting on delivery of a Cee Bailey "Adventure" screen and "wings". Hopefully, that will help.
I'm happy to accept that motorcycling is a "Wind in the face" type of activity, but would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks
Matthew

Matthew, looks like you've tried big and bigger with not too much success. Try going the other way. I also wear a Shoei Multitech and while I like wind in my face, the buffeting noise drives me crazy too. Shortly after purchasing my '05 GS I mounted the FlowJet screen. It's now on all the time except the coldest winter weather when I switch back to the stock screen just for warmth. Many here have cut down the stock screen with good success. The FlowJet does give less protection from wind and rain but it's a much quieter ride with no buffeting. Looks good too.

Default BMW Tall Windscreen

Thanks Jim
I'll give the Flow Jet a try.
My Cee Bailey screen arrived the other day. I'm looking forward to giving it a try, but may end up going back to the Flow Jet
Cheers
Matthew
