Question Adventure Bags on a GS?

I'm wondering if anyone out there has fitted the GS Adv. bags to the GS? I currently have the Vario Cases and want to switch. I've looked at Jesse, Touratech, and the others and like the look and fit of the BMW Adv Bags the best. Just don't know if I can make them work on a std. GS. Any advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated before I drop $1,500 bones!

Thanks,
Rupe

Have you taken a look at these bags yet?

Do a search on ADVRider for what others are saying.

Yes they will.

If you go over to ADV and look in the "G Spot" and do a search for adventure bags on a GS you will pull up several threads with pics...

$1400 is what my dealership quoted. I did the math and with brackets and panniers, it would be more like $1700 on the web. The nicest set up to date.

Thumbs up Adv Cases on 12GS

The Adventure cases and mounts will fit the GS as a complete set.

In South Africa, the GSA is sold with Adv case brackets ready-fitted as standard. A buyer wanted to transfer his Vario cases over when he upgraded from GS to GSA - so another rider I know took the brackets off his hands and fitted them to his standard GS...

Default GSA with GS bags

Is true in South Africa. I swopped around and got the expandable GS cases and top box on the GSA as I liked the look better.

Thumbs up

Yes, I just bought my new GS from North County BMW in Escondido and had them install the GS cases at time of purchase. First trip to Laguna Seca of 900+ miles and they worked great. Top loading is the way to go.
