Default jesse safari bags install with flapper valve

Has anyone tried to install Jesse Safari bags on a 2010gs. My concern is the flapper thing on the exhaust and what happens to it when you take off the exhaust to lower it. There is a new elbow that attaches but what happens to the flapper? Don't want to start this job if it requires skills I don't possess.

I just put a set of Safari's on my '09. I am not familiar with the "flapper" on the '10 exhaust. Mine installed in about 2hrs, easy and perfect fit! I would call Xplorermoto. They were absolutely great! Answered all my questions straight-forward. I couldn't be happier with the Jesse's.
