Default Tank Bag Debate

I 've been busy getting the new to me 08 GS set-up correctly...just about done. I normally do lots of research but the bride went out and bought me the BMW GS tank bag as a gift. it fits the tank like a glove but design wise I am not convinced...I am coming from a Wolfman and love the versatility. The BMW's lack of descent outer pockets is tough and the removable little case is almost silly. But my biggest concern is the small map window and thinness of the plastic cover. Is there any aftermarket map pockets that will fit this tank bag?

Default Tank Bag Debate

I’ve friends who would love for their wives to give them a primo BMW tank bag! They’d tell you, “Be thankful and learn to love it.” Actually, I have the same bag your wife gave you and love it. The Wolfman and Marsee bags I bought just didn’t fit that well and, although I missed the pockets the Wolfman offered at first, I don’t now. Actually, I’ve started cramming less crap in the BMW tank bag and purchased the smaller one. Keeping the bag, as one friend related, means you can say in front of your wife, "What a bag!" without fear of loosing your life.

Default Mike is WISE

Mike thank for the feedback...I will learn to love the BMW bag and probably don't need to stuff so much junk in my TB. the side pockets were nice for the little diddies like gum, IB, chap stick, etc.
