While on a three week trip in September and early October, I foolishly left the forward latch undone on one of my Jesse Odyssey II panniers. As I negotiated the roads between Tucson’s Marriott Star Pass (where I had business commitments) over to my low-rent motel, the locking assembly vibrated loose and littered the streets. When I got home, I e-mailed Rick at Xplorermoto, where I had purchased luggage system. A very few days later, I received the properly keyed lock cylinder. Great service!!!
When I began the repair process, I realized I didn’t have enough parts. The factory pressed-in lock cylinder housing was gone, too, and a quick e-mail to Rick produced almost immediate results. This was a factory issue and Xplormoto would contact Al Jesse for me. When I got home last night, the factory responded with a complete new latch system complete with the properly keyed lockset. Neither Xplorermoto nor Jesse Luggage Systems sent me an invoice. I don’t quite know how those guys warrant my stupidity but they did. I just thought those who haunt this forum should know about good service from good people. Thank you, Rick and Al. Mike |
