Default Skene Photon Blasters

I have just bought a set of Skene Photon Blasters to enhance visibility on my 2011 triple Black before a big trip. has anyone done this before? I am wondering what is the best wire to tap into for power to the Skene controller.
Cheers,
Kennif

They are very easy to install. I put the p3's on and just followed the install instructions from skene. There is also plenty of info on YouTube to help you out. Took me all of 10 min max and done. Even worked first time which is rare for me.

Thanks mate
The photon blasters fit on the front and face forwards. I just wondered what wire to connect to there. There is not much room really - i can see that the tail light fittings would be easier.

Kennif I 'don't know if this well help you any as it's for an rt.

On the RT, there should be no need to remove any plastic from the bike to install the lights. The connector that carries the parking light wire used to power the Photon Blaster control module is accessible on the rear wall of the R1200RT headlight shell. This is slightly to the right of the center of the motorcycle and has several wires going into it. It can be accessed by turning the handlebars fully to the left, then reaching in the right side of the headlight area to locate the connector. Push down on the plastic tab on its upper side and unplug it. You attach one of the gray/red Positap connectors to either of the two blue/white wires.

Also I read that some have used the posit apps into the running light wires. If you need help call skene direct. They are very easy and great to work with.

Cheers!

Thanks mate
Yes you were right - the park light wires were the easiest to tap into - on the opposite side on the GS. They (the Skene lights) look ok and I certainly sense I am being noticed more.

Default Skene Photon Blasters

I've a relayed Centech fuse block under the seat and simply ran a couple of wires up front to power the LEDs. I did use the supplied Posi-lock connectors so the lights could be replaced easily, if necessary.

They work great! I've had them for several thousand miles and believe they do make a difference with all cagers, cell-phone using mini-van drivers excluded.
