Default Thumbs up for BMW Tall screen

I bought it used locally for 1/2 retail price. So I figured, even if it did not work, the investment was the equivalent of a dinner out with wife and kids. Worth the risk.
I rode 180 miles today and I could not believe the difference. The stock was not bad, but I always had some buffeting at speeds over 60. Now at 70 and 80, little to no buffeting.
Currently is in the lowest position. I'll raise it a few notches to see if it gets even better.
Highly recommended... and the build quality seems higher than stock.

It's exactly like tis. Paid less because used, but even at $115 it's a pretty good deal considering it's BMW.

It's actually a tall shield made for BMW by National Cycle. It has a BMW part number, but if you look in the bottom left corner of the wind screen, you'll see National Cycle's NC logo.

I bought one last Friday. It looks very much like the original, but is 4" wider at the top and 3" taller than stock. I like to ride with my helmet shield up and this wind screen allows me to do that.

Default Best wind deflection

You say it's in it's lowest position. By that do you mean it's layer back towards the pilot as far as it goes? I have the standard screen on my 2009 but am looking to get the tall. I never know what position provides the best wind deflection.
