Hope the rest of you have addressed this issue, because the stock horn could get you hurt.

That looks neat, I have changed mine, but I couldn't find an airhorn that didn't foul somehting else, so I went electric, it's louder, but still not loud enough.

You can find this one at www.piratesk12site.net. I also think that Nippy Norman may have these as well. The horn IS self contained and runs through a relay off of the battery. It is simple to install.(If I can do it ANYONE CAN!)

Adventurers Workshop has them too. I installed one on my airhead and I've made a few cagers jump. The GS gets one sooner or later.

Installed mine this weekend. Awesome! I will only be satisfied when I make some cager drop their cell phone or spill their Starbucks as they head for the shoulder to get out of the way.

Did you have to modify or fits where OEM horn was?

Default Upgrading horn and stuff by zero skill rider!

I want to add a proper horn to my 2009 Adventure (and I want to fit additional or improved lighting to improve the surprisingly weak standard fit).

The trouble is I'm rubbish at this mechanical stuff - if I try to do it I'll get something badly wrong!!

So wanted to know if BMW supply add-ons like these so I can get them to fit them. Anyone know?

Alternatively I can track down a mechanic who'll do the work I guess...

Many (most?) BMW dealers will add whatever farkles you desire, be it BMW branded or something else. It's work for their service department. This type of thing is best done in the winter when service departments are begging for customers.
