Default New BMW Motorrad Zumo Bluetooth question...

Hi folks, I just picked up my new Garmin "BMW" edition of the Zumo GPS which if I'm not mistaken, is just a really expensive 550 (great unit, tho) and have a question about Bluetooth stuff.

Apparently, my cell phone works through the GPS for hand-free talking, only to be interrupted for directions as they come.

So I've got the GPS, I've got the cell phone (with MP3 player) but now I need a do-it-all Bluetooth stereo headset which can be used both under my helmet (probably small earpieces) but also when I'm not on the bike at all for other stuff. AND it needs to have a microphone.

I've done several searches recently and cannot find one that has all this: small enough ear pieces for helmet use, stereo (both ears) AND a microphone.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm sorta at a loss right now.

If you're willing to spend the money, J&M has one: http://www.jmcorp.com/SeeProducts.asp?PF=30

Also:http://www.airrider.com/store/bluetooth.php

There may be more, but I haven't found them yet. One of my concerns is that the Zumo does not support Bluetooth (wireless) music. The radio must be hardwired to the headset. J&M makes a dongle, but at great cost.

If you go this route, I'd like to hear how it works out for you. I'm holding out until I can get everything in one package, like the Zumo but truly wireless.

Thanks for the links, but these two appear to require actual mounting in/on the helmet. I need regular old earbuds, so that I can use 'em with any helmet, or without a helmet at all.

Perhaps it's a tall order, but I'm trying to avoid having to spend $200 apiece for 2 or 3 different setups when I want one that does it all.

Someone out there will come up with it. Eventually.

I have a Jabra unit. Clips over my ear and easily fits wearing my Shoei.

Sorry I don't have any links to buy one, but I'm sure if you type in JABRA in to either google or flEabay you'll find them.

I think what you are asking for is too much from one unit. It is very noisy inside a motorcycle helmet, making most ear piece units unusable. I like the scala rider bluetooth headset in the same configuration you mentioned. Get an iphone and you can listen to your ipod/xm/calls/garmin all in one headphone. infaride from england has a nice in helmet unit as well. Both need minor installation. I get calls from my friend on his scala all the time an it sounds like he is in a car with the windows up. Very clear. Up to about 70mph. Or these look nice. http://www.ridegear.com/rg/item/F-23...?intcmp=clvrst

I'm not sure if this link will work but nice info.
