Default What Is Your Handemade Upgrade ???

What is your handmade upgrade on your bike ?
Mine is nothing special but it was a must for me and it works great.

But I know some cleaver dudes out there, invented really practical add on and tricks for few pennies.
Please share with a picture.
Cheers.

I just could not resist to buy it when I saw it at a local shop that sells various kinds of kind of gadgets. The reason why is because the germans have given the GS the nickname "gummikuh" = "the rubber cow".

Cheers,

Beemer

FREDO RIDER,

that is a great idea. I really like that. Good job.

I'll post a photo of a cheap mod that i did. I've done some other acces. mods, but there not pennytech mods. Are we just showing pennytech mods or anything that we did? Anyway, here you go.

Scrap aluminum is good. I used some to make a bracket to mount a stick on thermometer. It reads OK, now.

I first tried mounting the thermometer near the instrument panel but heat from the engine is funneled in that direction causing it to read about 15 degrees too high.

Default Lanyard's

I installed Lanyard's on my Fastway foot pegs, shifter, and brake lever. Just incase something came loose and fell off, I didn't want to go looking for it. Now it will just hang there. Eventually i will drill holes in the fastener heads and safety wire them.

Adios
