I'm on my second set of Jesse bags, and I really like them.
I prefer top-loading bags because it is easier to pack them, and stuff doesn't fall out when you open them. The lids are great for the stuff you need regularly, and they are very durable. ![]() My old R1100GS with Jesse's. ![]() My R1200GS with Jesse bags! They look good, and are competitively priced with most others, and if you get the "scratch and Dent" bags, that usually look just as good as the full price bags, you save $2-300. Jim

I have Jesse bags. They are like aything in life, a trade off. I had the Touratech (now $1500 for the special set
), but liked the larger capacity, powder coated cases and more robust construction of the Jesse's. What I didn't like was the mounts. Way too fiddly to install and get just right and you have to relocate the turn signals. You can buy Jesse bags for $895 if you call and ask if he has what you want in his adopt a bag factory seconds program. Mine has a paint flaw that is hardly noticeable. Michatech's are nice and cost $1200, but I don't care for the looks. Bottom line for me was the $300-$600 difference in price. If I had it to again, I'd probably get the Happy Trails bags.
