Default Pirelli Scorpion

I recently acquired an F800GS that came with Pirelli Scorpion tires and so far have been happy with their performance on and off road, wet and dry. I am curious as to whether anyone else has any experience with them compared to other brands such as the Tourance or Anakee?

Kickstand, I was wondering if you've had much chance to test the Pirelli tiers yet. One of my brothers put these on his bike and likes them, he said they lasted him 9K miles which seems like a bunch of miles on a set of tires. These might be an option to the Michelin Anakee and Tourance tires. How is the grip?

I've not much experience with the Pirelli's but my riding partners with KTM's swear by them. I can tell you I can get a lot more miles out of a set of Tourance than the Pirelli owners but so much has to do with your riding style. For what it is worth...I've not found a better tire than the Tourance for day to day riding. Rode a set from the Northwest (USA)to Inuvik, NWT last summer and still has some life left upon our return. That said, the Dempster MUD really put the tires and rider to the test.
