While I'm not from Texas I will be in Daytona for Bike week 2009, for about the 20th time. If you're into camping there will be a large group of BMW riders at the Holiday Travel Park, referred to as the B Cubed rally for Beemers, BikeWeek and BiketoberFest. However, your post says the weekend of March 8-9 Bike Week is always the first full week in March and actually begins a few days earlier. I think the dates are Feb 27 through March 8th. If you get there on the 8th, all you'll see is a lot of folks leaving. Go early, there's something going on every day and you can't take it all in without staying several days.

Check the dates... in 2008 bike week just might have been over Mar 8-9, dunno.
