Default Got any suggestions?

If you have any suggestions for improving this forum, here's the place to write about them. I'll consider anything. Even changing the color scheme (though it took me way too long to create this 'look' -- I really wanted it to be different than the stock vBulletin look, and different from ADVrider which also runs on vBulletin).

This is my first attempt at an online forum like this, and if there is one thing I learned in my roughly 35 year career as a software engineer it is that no matter how spiffy a job you think you did, get some smart co-workers to review it for you and they will improve it very measurably.

So let's hear your thoughts...

Can you configure vBulletin to allow the "skin" to be customized by the member?

If I come up with some new color scheme and graphics. You wouldn't believe now much work it took to come up with this scheme. Of course most of the time was learning curve, but still, it's a huge amount of work.

HMarc:

Congrats on your newest addition to your Website! I've used your site a number of times to find solutions and explore new ways to spend my money.

Do you bleed green?

Good luck with the board!

I'm not actually that big a fan of green. I just wanted something different from ADVRider and some of the other popular forums. vBulletin 'skins' aren't that easy to come by (unless you want to pay for them). I spent many days figuring this one out. This winter I hope to find time to come up with some alternative schemes.

Actually, I was just razzing you.

I know your GS is green, so I figured it was a trend.

I'm not an IT guy, but I'm sure you put a lot of time and effort into getting this up and running.

It will be interesting and fun to see how this evolves.

Good luck.
