2012 headlight adjuster dislodged

How to fix. If the bike is under warrantee it may be covered check first before proceeding. Problem, the whole lense assembly it loose and lights are too high. To fix when the white nylon coupling is dislodged. Remove the light and speedo assembly from the bike ,take out both globes to give light and access the coupling through left side .use adj screw and back adjuster off about 3/4 of the way now the coupling can be re attached using strong flexible wire threaded under the white coupling .
to get enough lifting effort I had to make a loop out of the wire and use a large screw driver as a lever to slowly lift the coupling until it pops back on the black spigot ,I left the wire attached there inside just in case it is needed again in the future .good luck
