Unhappy handle bar end weights

Has anyone any suggestions regarding end weight removal. The screw is rotating but not unscrewing.

I think the screw goes into a sliding sleeve, not sure. If so you might need to provide a little tension on the screw, pulling it at the same time you are turning it, so the sleeve will stick to the inside of the handlebar instead of turning with the screw.

That is only a guess. I've only had mine off once when I installed my Kaoko throttle control and did not have the issue that you are reporting.

the end weight bolt threads into a alloy sleeve which itself screws in.sometimes they come out together and you can heat up the alloy bit to remove it from the bolt.they can be flipping hard to get undone and out.should try lots boiling hot water over the area to warm up the lock tight..
