Default Trans America Trail

Interested in finding out what experiences anyone has had riding the TAT, especially if they've done it on their GS. I have the 1200 and feel I could tackle just about anything on it but I don't know the trail. I see many videos posted showing the trail but I've yet to see anyone on a 1200 and it seems most are on dirtbikes. Thanks for your time.

I'm sure somebody will jump in with first hand info but untill they do
here is an outfit out of Seattle that is first class and would be a good contact:

http://www.globeriders.com/tours_pages/tours_main.shtml

They tour world wide and always/mostly GS riding.

The head guy/owner is Helge Pederson and if you ever get a chance to attend one of his talks/seminars you will enjoy.

And welcome to the forum

Default Tat

I have ridden the Arkansas/Oklahoma section on a 92 R100GS and am sure that the R1200GSA would have been just fine. It would have been more fun on a lighter bike.
